The new D2 DAB firmware is now available.
They have tested this firmware in London where they were able to access 51 stations without the previous problems.
*Before proceeding, make sure the battery is fully charged.
*Please note that the firmware upgrade may format the player, so you should back up any data you may wish to keep.
This update fixes the problem that limits the number of stations the DAB can handle.
1) Download the update zip file by clicking hereflorida free map.
2) Extract the contents of the zip file. You will now have three folders: 0, 1 and 2. It is important that you follow the instructions below exactly in order.
3) Open folder 0, you will find a file: d2.bin. Copy this file to the root directory of the internal memory of the D2. (The root directory is the top level of the D2, ie. the directory that all other folders are located within)
4) Safely disconnect the D2 and power it on, once the update has completed the D2 will power off.
5) Connect again and repeat steps 3 and 4 using the contents of folder 1.
6) Connect again and repeat steps 3 and 4 using the contents of folder 2. There are two files in folder 2, please copy both to the D2 at the same time.
7) Power on the D2 and scan for DAB stations.
If the procedure does not appear to have worked, please repeat the process.
This version also introduces support for Audible.
